Synopsis

After Claire Summers inherits her family’s haunted San Jose mansion and discovers a lost diary, she uncovers dark secrets buried for generations, including occult practices, black magick, and a vengeful goddess. She soon learns from a podcast that her Aunt Sharon’s decades-old suicide might have been murder. When history starts to repeat itself in the Bay Area, and more occult killings are discovered, two detectives are forced to reopen the cold case. Their investigation reveals that the one thing linking all the murders is the 1980s rock band, Red Babalon. Claire’s mother, Janet Cahill-Summers, now a bestselling author and wellness guru, and her Aunt Sharon were connected to the band as groupies when they were young twenty-somethings. Danger closes in on Claire and her friends when they learn more about her mother’s hidden past and an unspeakable evil that has returned to collect what is due.
